This course is designed specifically for those starting their digital journey, aiming to enhance their digital literacy for personal and professional use. This course uses open and free software. The course is for individuals, eighteen years and older, who want to improve their basic computer skills and learn how to use various programmes that will/may benefit them in daily life.

To participate in the programme and to ensure the best possible learning outcomes, students must have English skills equivalent to level A2.1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

The target group for further education according to the board of the Icelandic Education Fund. FA target group

  • Assessment is based on attendance, project work and active participation in the programme.
  • To complete the programme and graduate with a diploma, it is necessary to achieve 80% attendance.
  • Teaching is carried out according to a curriculum by the Education, Training and Service Centre Certified by the Centre for Education and School Services.
  • The programme is subsidised by the Education Fund to equalise access and promote learning for adults.
  • Course commencement: Please note that a minimum number of participants is required for the course to be held.
