Careers and Counsellor/Project Manager

I provide general academic and career guidance, which involves helping people to identify their interests and strengths alongside personal counselling. I also offer assistance with CV and cover letter writing, along with guidance on good study practices and organisation. The most enjoyable part of my job is mapping out the next steps for people of all ages in their studies and/or careers, empowerment, and interest assessments.

Work experience and education

Started working at Mímir in 2025
Previously worked as a project manager on a long-term research project into the impact of interests, personality and values on people's career development, and as a secondary school teacher of social studies.

Diploma in Pedagogy for Teaching Qualification from the University of Iceland
BA in Political Science from the University of Iceland
