Consultants Staff

Kristín Erla Þráinsdóttir

Head of Consultancy and Recognition of Prior Learning

I provide general career and study guidance, which involves helping people to understand their own strengths and interests, boosting their self-confidence and increasing their belief in their own abilities, alongside personal counselling.

I provide assistance with CVs, covering letters and preparation for job interviews. I also help individuals to adopt improved working practices, better study techniques, and time management, and to follow up on their goal-setting. The most enjoyable part of my job is helping people with their educational and career choices.

I have led work on the assessment of prior learning in the vocational qualification for retail and service, but Mími has offered this service since 2019. I also conduct career development interviews, where I help people make decisions about their studies or their position in the labour market and explore career development options. I am on Mímis's corporate team, which provides companies with advice and services on everything related to developing their human capital with a focus on success.
