Career development advice

Career development is important for to grow and to develop in work. It is primarily about familiarising oneself with and shaping new ways to carry out current work and tasks in a constantly changing environment, rather than changing tasks or career path.

Sometimes, professional development involves studying and gaining knowledge in a specific field.

The aim of career development counselling is to to help helping people to find increased well-being and value in their workplace and in the labour market in general.

Career development counselling in the workplace is in in partnership with employers. The emphasis is on guidance and advice in conversations, where the skills and abilities of each individual are prioritised to best adapt them to tasks both inside and outside the workplace. The result is improved well-being and increased competence among staff, as well as higher quality in the company's operations.
