Autumn Term 2018 Graduation
„Respect the views and opinions of others. Likewise, take responsibility for your own opinions and your life. Show tolerance for your fellow human beings on life's journey and be above reproach in matters beyond your control,“ said Sólveig Hildur Björnsdóttir, Director of Mímir, among other things, when she addressed the students at the Mímir graduation ceremony, which took place at a solemn service in Grafarvogskirkja on 14 December.
Egill Örn Egilsson, a graduate student from Menntastoðir, also addressed the gathering. He spoke, among other things, about how Mímir was a fantastic place for people to start their studies anew. There, care was a priority and every single student was well looked after.
A former student of Míma, Kolbrún Eva Viktorsdóttir, was in charge of the music at the ceremony, along with her brother, Sigurvin Sindri Viktorsson. It is worth mentioning that Kolbrún has now started studying at the undergraduate school of HR. This was an encouragement to many of the graduating students to hear about it.
There were nearly 90 students graduating this time, both from courses and from the recognition of prior learning.
Mímir congratulates all students on their achievement and extends its best wishes to them and their families for a happy Christmas and a prosperous future.
