Be-digital partnership meeting in Norway
The second Nordplus project, Be-digital, was scheduled to be held in Kristiansand, Norway, from 11th to 13th March. Representatives from Mímir decided not to travel to Norway due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 situation. It was therefore decided to move the meeting online, although partners from Lithuania and Latvia did travel to Norway. The meeting, however, came to an abrupt end, as by midday on the first day it became clear that Oslo was shutting down due to COVID-19 and the attendees therefore had to act quickly to catch flights home that same day. In the end, everything worked out, and the group managed to resolve the main issues via a remote meeting the following week.
The project is about designing a 15-hour course for people aged 50 and over, which can be offered by workplaces to their staff as well as by trade unions, with the aim of increasing skills in the use of social media up to retirement and beyond.
