Measures regarding restrictions on gatherings

At midday today, new measures to strengthen domestic public health were brought into effect in the hope of controlling the spread of COVID-19 infections. Gatherings are now limited to 100 adults, people are required to maintain a distance of at least two metres from one another and wear a face covering where this is not possible, for example on aeroplanes and ferries. Mímir has already implemented these new rules in its school and workplace operations to ensure that no more than 100 adults are ever in the same room within the school at one time. Likewise, no more than this number will be in smaller spaces, ensuring that the two-metre rule can be followed.

Although these tightened measures are in place for two weeks or until 13 August, Mímir has begun work on preparing for possible changes to school operations, should the government announce even stricter measures this autumn. We are closely monitoring guidance from the authorities and its impact. Further information on the arrangements for teaching in the coming autumn term will be sent out shortly.

Please note that the Mímir reception has been temporarily closed, and Mímir will be focusing on providing customers with remote services. All key information about Mímir's services and course offerings can be found on the Mímir website. Enquiries are answered on 5801800, via email [email protected] and the chat portal on the Mímir website, as well as the Mímir Facebook page. All enquiries are answered as quickly as possible during office opening hours.

It has never been more important to look out for one another and stand together. Let's agree to respect the two-metre rule and gathering restrictions, try to limit non-essential contact and observe good hygiene. We all have a responsibility.

Good luck.
