I left school 27 years ago but am now a graduate.
Nineteen students from the Menntastoðir distance learning programme graduated on 10 June. The group began their studies in autumn 2020 and were exclusively in distance learning. The course was structured into five modules, with students taking two subjects at a time alongside a study skills course. The students were very pleased with this arrangement and adapted well to the structure. Inga Rósa Harðardóttir gave a speech on behalf of the students; she began her studies at Menntastofur after taking a 27-year break from education. Such a decision requires courage, but Inga Rósa expressed her great satisfaction with the good and concise organisation. She said the teachers were exemplary and kept her on her toes the whole time so she didn't fall behind. We wholeheartedly congratulate Inga Rósa and all the students on their graduation and excellent results.
