UT course for Mímir staff

In a fast-paced environment of technological change and the potential for attacks on computer systems or information, the Executive Board of Mímir has decided to commission a review of security matters and provide training for staff. Mímis has clear procedures regarding information technology matters. In a conversation with Ingunn Guðmundsdóttir, Director of Operations, it is clear that these matters are under constant review.
„We felt the time had come to take another look at security and information technology matters. This is a constantly changing environment that it is important to monitor regularly. An audit carried out by OK for us revealed that, on the whole, we are in a good position regarding security. An important part of enhancing security is staff training, as many attacks involve attempts to trick staff into giving out information or clicking on phishing emails, to name but a few. This was therefore a welcome training session for all of us to further enhance security in this area of our operations.“
