Mímir is a leading centre for lifelong learning that provides quality education for a diverse student body. As a Project Manager, you will be involved in creating learning opportunities and developing an effective learning environment for adult learners. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects aimed at maximising a positive student learning experience and enabling them to grow and flourish.
Key responsibilities and duties
- Organisation and administration of courses and projects
- Customer relations and workplace presentations
- Working on innovation and development projects (international, national and in-house)
- Working on presentations
- Teamwork
Educational and competency requirements
- B.A. in Icelandic as a Second Language/Foreign Languages/Pedagogy or another relevant qualification.
- Very good Icelandic (B1<) and English skills, other language skills an advantage.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A rich service spirit
- Initiative, progressiveness and solution-oriented thinking
- Great interest in technological innovations
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Has a positive effect on workplace culture

Education and qualification requirements
- BA in Icelandic as a Second Language/Languages/Teaching preferred or similar education
- Icelandic (B1<) and English proficiency, other languages are a plus

- Initiative and a can-do attitude
- Loves new technologies
- Can work independently and in a team
