Nursery Nurse Graduation

On 20 December, 10 nursery nurses graduated from Mími. The nursery nurse course is tailored to the needs of people working in the care, upbringing and education of children, and the course lasts for four terms. It was therefore a long-awaited milestone for the students to achieve with their graduation.

„Strength, perseverance and diligence are the first words that come to mind when I look across this group. Taking the step, stepping out of your comfort zone and tackling new challenges is what you have all done here at Mími Continuing Education, and done well,“ said Sigrún, a lecturer at the graduation. Sigrún then added: „Nelson Mandela once said that education was the most powerful weapon which could be used to change the world. Use your education and the power you have been given, and use it for good. The world is your oyster.“

In addition, Irma Matchavariani, project manager at Mímir, and María Stefanía Stefánsdóttir, careers and employment adviser, spoke.
