Staff from Mímir on a visit to an Erasmus+ Mobility Activity in Finland

At the end of August 2023, two staff members from Mímir travelled to Helsinki, Finland, for an Erasmus+ Mobility Activity. Spring House Oy hosted the staff from Mímir. The visit focused on understanding and learning about Finland's inclusion policies and practices, and in this context, the services provided by Spring House. The visit included presentations and discussions on various aspects of the integration of adult immigrants in Finland, including language training, supervision and counselling, the recognition of prior learning, vocational training, as well as methods to help immigrants adapt to the Finnish labour market.

In addition, staff from Mími visited the test centre Testipiste, where proficiency tests and methods for assessing the competence and skills of immigrants upon their arrival in Finland were presented.

Extensive discussions on best practices provided participants with important insights and practical knowledge that all participants in the Erasmus+ programme can apply to their work.
