Efling's retirement course

Efling's sought-after retirement courses have been held in collaboration with Mími for years, and over 100 Efling members attended the last course.

Efling's retirement courses are available in Icelandic, English and Polish and have been free of charge for members, but spouses have also been welcome.

Retirement has a significant impact on people's lives and is a big step to take, but the courses offer members the opportunity to prepare for a successful retirement and this milestone in their lives. With good preparation, you can approach a new role in a positive way, which in turn contributes to a fulfilling life after retirement. During the course, specialists will discuss employment and life skills after retirement, health insurance, pension entitlements, and rights with the trade union, and will answer questions from participants. The course also covers what is on offer in social activities and education for people in their prime.
