Staff of Mímir at the anniversary conference of the staff training funds

Staff from Mímir attended the anniversary conference of the vocational training funds, which was held on 18 September at the Grand Hotel Reykjavík. The conference was held to mark the 25th anniversary of the vocational training funds and the 10th anniversary of Áttin, the funds' joint web portal.

The conference reviewed the history of the vocational training funds and Áttin, discussed the importance of continuing and further education, the development of skills in the labour market, and investment in skills as a key factor in the competitiveness and well-being of society.

It was both informative and enjoyable to take part in the conference, meet partners from the business community and further strengthen our shared vision on the importance of vocational education and skills development in the Icelandic labour market.
