Address by the Executive Director of Mímir

Dear teachers, students, partners and friends of Mímis

As the festive season approaches, I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to you all for your collaboration and company throughout the year. At Mímir Lifelong Learning, people from diverse backgrounds, with different experiences and dreams, come together, united by the common goal of growing, learning and strengthening themselves. It is truly a privilege to be part of such a community.

The staff and teachers at Mímir arrive at work each day, determined to put pride and care into their work, thereby creating a friendly environment. An environment where students have the opportunity to begin a new chapter in their lives, whether after a long break from their studies, in a new country, or in a new field. The impact of our staff's professionalism is invaluable and extends far beyond the classroom.

I would also like to thank our students for the trust, diligence and courage it takes to take the step and embark on the journey that is learning. You are a reminder to us all that it is never too late to learn, to evolve and to find one's voice.

As we head into the festive season, I want to encourage everyone to slow down, enjoy the company, laugh, rest and nurture the relationships with the people closest to you. Christmas is not a task to be completed but a time to be enjoyed; a time of warmth, togetherness, hope and renewal.
