Education Foundation Graduation held on 10 June 2026

Graduation Educational foundation took place at a ceremonial event on 10 June 2026. Graduating students, their families, teachers and staff gathered to celebrate this significant milestone in the students' lives.

A total of 22 students graduated, from both full-time and distance learning, which reflects the flexibility in study that Menntastoðir offers.
At the ceremony, Þórir Björgvinsson gave a speech on behalf of the students, in which he recalled the group's shared experiences, thanked the teachers and staff for their support, and encouraged his fellow students to use their knowledge and experience in the future.

Sólrún H. Guðmundsdóttir, the project manager, gave a short speech in which she congratulated the graduates on their achievements and encouraged them to continue their studies and get involved in the community. Afterwards, she presented the graduates with their certificates.

The ceremony was warm and festive, and conveyed pride, joy and optimism for the future.

Menntastoðir is a popular course at Mími, offering people the opportunity for further study or new career prospects. This year's graduates are mostly taking the next steps in their studies, heading for university preparatory programmes at Bifröst, HR and Keili, or for vocational, industrial and technical courses.

We sincerely congratulate all our graduates on their achievement and look forward to following them in the future.
