New short course in Icelandic
Now on offer at Mímir Continuing Education Practical crash course (6 hours) in Icelandic Specially designed for people who work in the travel or hospitality industry and want to start learning Icelandic.
On the course, people learn common words and simple sentences such as greetings and the numbers. Common phrases and fun Icelandic words are also taught, which can be used in communication, both with domestic and international tourists and in everyday life.
Participants also get an insight into common practices in Icelandic society and information on ways to continue learning Icelandic. The course uses a variety of materials and active student participation to ensure effective and enjoyable learning of Icelandic.
The course is taught online. It is held twice, for three hours at a time, and the next courses begin on 21 September.
