Mímir takes part in the first workshop of the BRICK project in Milan

From 11th to 13th March, two representatives from Mímir attended a working meeting in Milan, Italy, along with partners in the BRICK project. This was the project's first working meeting, where participants mapped out the project and planned the work ahead. The project is based on a partnership between public bodies, educational institutions and businesses in three countries – Italy, France and Iceland.

The BRICK project aims to develop strategic initiatives and tools to enhance the professional development of adults from vulnerable groups through practical language teaching (Language for Work). By focusing on people's retraining, the quality and security of their jobs are increased, and their enhanced skills and knowledge of digital and green pathways strengthen their position in the labour market.

At the meeting in Milan, partners met to discuss the project's objectives, methods and the next steps in its implementation. Mímir will, together with its partners, work on projects within the healthcare sector in Iceland, where language learning will be used as part of professional development.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration and will share further information about the project as it develops.
Keep an eye on the Mímir homepage for updates on the project.
