A visit from the Learning Network

Staff from the Learning Network – Continuing Education in South Iceland visited Mími yesterday, 3rd June, to learn about its operations and see the teaching facilities. Staff from both centres shared their experience of course offerings and guidance on study and careers in further education, teaching Icelandic as a second language, and other projects. Quality assurance at the centres was also discussed, as well as information technology and teaching equipment.

The visit was part of a training day with Fræðslunetið, but both centres are part of Símennt, an association of training and continuing education centres, of which eleven are members.
