Corporate partnership for Icelandic language teaching presented at Human Resources Day

Staff from Mímir presented Icelandic language teaching in the workplace at a promotional stand in Harpa. Human Resources Day 2025 which was celebrated today, 3 October. Numerous workplaces are already collaborating with Mímir on Icelandic language tuition for their staff, and an increasing number are showing interest. Mímir has decades of experience teaching Icelandic to immigrants whose mother tongue is not Icelandic and runs around 150 courses a year.

Mímir offers companies a variety of services to enhance their staff's Icelandic and make Icelandic the language of choice in the workplace. The courses are always tailored to the company's needs and are based on recognised teaching methods that encourage increased communication in Icelandic. The benefits for companies of enhancing staff's Icelandic skills are numerous. These include increased job satisfaction and internal communication, lower staff turnover, and a more informed workforce. This, in turn, has a positive impact on the quality of life for foreign staff, as well as on the workplace culture.
