A course for teachers at Mími

A course for Mímir's teachers was held recently, where Mímir's teaching policies and quality standards were presented. The course is one of two that Mímir holds for its teachers, the aim of which is to empower them to provide Mímir's clients with an outstanding service in learning and teaching.

The course, which took place on 6th September, covered Mímir's policies, curriculum and teacher's handbook, as well as technical aspects of teaching. The results of a survey of Icelandic language teachers conducted by Mímir this spring showed a need for training for teachers on various quality processes at Mímir, as well as further training in the use of interactive whiteboards, which have now been installed in all of Mímir's classrooms.
