A large crowd at Mímis' Christmas party

Around fifty people attended Mími's Christmas party, held in Mími's student room at Höfðabakka 9 today, Wednesday, 18th December. Among the guests were teachers and staff from Mími, as well as assessors for the competency-based assessment.

Sólveig Hildur Björnsdóttir, Managing Director of Mímir, welcomed guests and spoke, among other things, about the importance of trust in her address.

„We are grateful for the trust that students place in Mímir, but nearly three thousand students study with Mímir each year. Trust is not built in a day; it is earned; the result of hard work and the involvement of many people over many years,“ said Sólveig Hildur. „Let us continue to handle the trust shown to us well and show it respect. I am not only thinking of Mímí, but of life itself,“ said Sólveig Hildur, thanking those present for their rewarding work during the year and wishing them a very happy Christmas.

Halldóra Geirharðsdóttir gave a Christmas reflection and spoke about her personal journey towards improved health and a better quality of life. She spoke about the importance of loving oneself as well as others, or as she put it so well, „I love you, Dóra.“

Mímir wishes everyone a Merry Christmas, and thanks for the year that is passing.

Here are some pictures from the party.
