
Two graduating groups from a certificate course for people in health and social care
Stunning groups graduated on Wednesday, 13th April from a certificate course for staff in primary and secondary healthcare and social services.
The courses are held in collaboration with Mímir Lifelong Learning and Efling. They are intended for those who assist, care for or look after the sick, disabled and elderly in private homes or institutions. Also for those who assist clients with shopping, cleaning and personal care. The courses place an emphasis on topics that are useful to the employee in both their professional and personal life.
The vocational courses are a prerequisite for the Social Care Foundation Programme. The vocational courses are two courses with a combined total of 190 hours. These are Vocational Course I (95 hours) and Vocational Course II (95 hours). Participants must complete the first course to proceed to the second.
