A number of students sit exams at Mími

Mímir-Símenntun has established itself as a examination centre for students of the University of Akureyri (HA) and the University of Bifröst, and an increasing number of students from the universities sit their exams with us.

The exam period began on 27 November when students from Bifröst started to arrive. Around 250 students came to us at Höfðabakkinn for exams from Bifröst between 27 November and 1 December. Sickness and resit exams were then held on the 18th and 19th of December, and a few students came to us for their exams.

Exams from HA began on 29 November and finished on 15 December. Nearly a thousand students from HA came to sit their exams with us.

Nearly 1,300 exams have been sat at the Mímis premises since 27 November. We have had a fantastic team of invigilators assisting us with these exams, and the Mímis staff have also pitched in to make everything run smoothly.

The next period begins in January when the HA sickness and recovery tests start on 3 January and end on 10 January.
