Be part of a new approach to language support in the workplace!

Mímir-símenntun presents a new training programme for language mentors in companies – a unique opportunity to enhance language skills, increase cultural literacy and improve communication in the workplace.

The project was funded by the Development Fund for Further Education, and the curriculum is now fully developed. In April, the course is scheduled to be piloted, where participants will receive training in supporting their colleagues in their Icelandic language learning and promoting an inclusive working environment.

The programme has been developed in collaboration with experts in language teaching and cultural literacy, and offers practical tools and methods that companies can use to create a stronger and more cohesive workplace culture.

The course is intended for individuals in businesses who wish to take on the role of a language mentor and support their colleagues' Icelandic language learning.
