It's a learning game.
A splendid group of graduates from the 'Introductory Course 1 for Nursery School Staff' course walked out into the fine weather yesterday, content. The introductory courses place an emphasis on both learning modules that strengthen personal and general skills, e.g.e.g. self-esteem and communication, study skills, a portfolio of skills and computers, as well as topics such as the upbringing of preschool children, their development and growth, art activities with children, the preschool curriculum, the multicultural preschool and more.
„This was a really cheerful and fun group of people who graduated with us this time. The introductory courses are held in collaboration between Efling and Mímir – Continuing Education. That means students can attend the courses free of charge. It also means that they move up a pay grade in their jobs as well as being better equipped to tackle challenges within the nurseries,“ says Þórunn Grétarsdóttir, project manager at Mímir.
