Guidance in the field of further education

The study and careers advisors of Mímir recently took part in a workshop at the Training Centre for the Business Sector.

The Training Centre for the Business Sector held a workshop on guidance in the field of further education on 24 August at the Grand Hotel. This was the annual working meeting, and this time it covered various issues relating to multicultural society, needs analysis, validation of prior learning, learning pathways and general employability, to name but a few.

Five study and careers advisors from Mímis attended this workshop and benefited from it. They were: Álfhildur Eiríksdóttir, María Stefanía Stefánsdóttir, Kristín Erla Þráinsdóttir, Karen Guðmundsdóttir and Helga Rúna Þorsteinsdóttir.
