Graduations from the Preschool and Care Workshops

This autumn term, three groups graduated from Nursery workshop and Care workshop. Two from the Preschool Workshop and one from the Care Workshop

Students in the Preschool Workshop have been working hard with their studies and have shown great progress in Icelandic, and have, among other things, learnt the language through music and drama. They went on a four-day field trip where they gained valuable experience and knowledge that will stand them in good stead for the future.

Students on the Care Course received excellent preparation for careers in care, where they learned, among other things, how to use creative subjects such as music, drama and movement in their care work. They went on a four-day work placement and on several fun and educational visits, as well as improving their Icelandic language skills. All of this will help them to communicate well with the people they will care for in the future.
