Staff from Mímir attended the Símenntar autumn meeting in Ísafjörður.

Nine staff members from Mímir - Continuing Education attended the autumn meeting of Símenntun, the association of adult education and continuing education centres in Iceland, which was held in Ísafjörður on 26-27 September 2024.

The meeting was well attended, with around 50 representatives from eleven adult education centres gathered. The meeting's agenda was varied, but the main focus was on aspects relating to improved quality in learning and teaching, skills training, and the future vision for further education, Icelandic language teaching and lifelong learning.

The meeting, which is held annually, is an important platform for the exchange of ideas between people and for strengthening links between the centres for lifelong learning. The aim is always to improve services for students and the community.
