Graduation from the Education Foundation

Thursday, 19th June was a celebratory day at Mími Lifelong Learning when 24 students graduated from The educational institutions of Mímis. Graduating students, relatives, teachers and staff of Mímir came together to celebrate the graduation and achievements of the students.

Margrét Erla Björnsdóttir, Project Manager of the Education Foundation, gave a speech, together with Sólveig Hilda Björnsdóttir, Managing Director of Mímir.

„It takes courage to start studying as an adult,“ said Sólveig Hildur in her address, as she warmly congratulated the students on their achievement. „I would like to thank you for the trust you have shown in Mímir, the teachers and staff, by allowing us to be a part of your lives.“

On behalf of the graduating students, Ragnhildur Hreiðarsdóttir gave a heartfelt speech, mentioning how inspiring it was to see progress in their studies and how their journey at Menntastoðir had shaped their identity and vision for the future. Ragnhildur thanked the lecturers for their professionalism, patience and encouragement throughout her time studying at Menntastoðir.

Education is a popular course offered by Mímir, providing people with new opportunities for further study or new career prospects. This year's graduates are mostly taking the next steps in their studies, heading for university preparatory programmes at Bifröst, HR and Keili, or for vocational, industrial and technical training.

We sincerely congratulate all our graduates and look forward to following them in the future.
