Winner announced

We would like to thank everyone who took part in our competition. „This is my Icelandic!“ which took place on the occasion of the Day of the Icelandic Language. The competition involved sharing a short video in which participants spoke Icelandic with their unique characteristics and described what their Icelandic was like.

Inna Sydorova, Tanya Harkusha, Maksym Sydorov, Catherine Marsac and Nevæh Meiting Qin all shared brilliant videos showing how diverse the Icelandic language can be.

The Mímir jury carefully reviewed all the videos and unanimously decided that Maksym Sydorov was the winner.

We sincerely congratulate Maksym and ask him to contact us as soon as possible.
