At Mímir you can take a general proficiency test in Icelandic and pay 16,000 kr. Such a test is for those who are not Enrolled on a course at Mími.

The process:

1: Send an email to: [email protected] and sign up for an Icelandic proficiency assessment.

2: We will contact you within a week of registration.

After a paid assessment, you will receive a certificate showing your proficiency level in reading, listening, vocabulary, grammar and speaking according to The European Language Framework.

Please note that the certificate is an informal document which provides information about your Icelandic language skills at the time the assessment was carried out.

If you intend to present the document to a third party, it is the responsibility of each company/organisation whether decisions are based on the results of the assessment.
