Mímir's classes continue online.
There will be changes to Mímis's school operations following the authorities' decision on a temporary ban on gatherings and restrictions on school operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. From Monday, 16 March 2020 until Sunday, 12 April 2020, all Mímir services, including learning and counselling, will move online.
All learning will be taught remotely.
Although Mímis's school buildings at both Höfðabakka 9 and Öldugata 23 will be closed, school activities will continue through remote learning, teaching, guidance, and the assessment of prior learning. Teachers and project managers will inform students of the changes, as well as prepare them for them. Learning and teaching will continue as before via Inna, www.inna.is and requires an Icelandic key or electronic identity documents to log in.
The staff of Mímis are continuing their work and are committed to providing good service and support during the changes.
Reporting infection and quarantine
We urge staff, teachers and students to notify Mímis's security guard, Anney Þórunn Þorvaldsdóttir, at [email protected], if anyone at the school tests positive for COVID-19 and/or needs to self-isolate. Individuals with flu-like symptoms who have recently been on the Mímis premises are kindly asked to contact their GP. Individuals with risk factors for a more severe COVID-19 infection are also advised to contact the Mímis security officer.
