Qualification for a community interpreter
Eight students graduated on Thursday, 19th December from a programme for community interpreter.
The course is intended for those who are, or intend to be, engaged in community interpreting. Community interpreting is the oral, impartial interpretation between parties who do not speak the same language.
In the programme, students learn about Icelandic society and its main institutions, as well as receiving training in note-taking and interpreting.
We sincerely congratulate them.
