We are Accredited educational provider from the Ministry of Education and Children's Affairs pursuant to the Act on Continuing Education No. 27/2010, which confirms that the operation meets clear and professional requirements for organisation, educational materials and service.
Mímis's services in education, careers and vocational guidance, and competence assessment have received the EQM+ quality certification (European Quality Mark) from the National Centre for Learning and the Workplace. The certification is a confirmation of professional working practices, with improvement at its core and a service based on the needs of people and business.
Mímir has also received recognition from Creditinfo as an outstanding company and has been selected as a model company in business by Viðskiptablaðið and Keldan for many years in a row. These accolades reflect sound operations, good practices and stability.
Mímir is a member of Continuing education, an association of eleven education and further training centres across the country. The association's aim is to promote lifelong learning and further education in Iceland. This applies equally to supporting individuals in developing their skills and raising awareness among the business community of the importance of lifelong learning in a constantly changing work environment.
Mímir is also a member of Playful, an association of educational providers in Iceland which work together to promote and strengthen adult education and lifelong learning throughout the country. The association was founded in 2005 and today is an umbrella organisation for 19 educational providers operating in all regions of the country.
