New and combined professional training for staff in health and social care

This autumn, we at Mímir Continuing Education are offering a new and exciting version of the Professional Course for staff in health and social services. Instead of offering Professional Development Course 1 and Professional Development Course 2 as separate courses, they will be combined into one effective course.

The course will focus on professional skills, communication and self-empowerment, and training in understanding and communicating in Icelandic is a major part of the programme.

The course is both practical and empowering for people working in care in homes or institutions.

The course consists of the following modules: Communication and Icelandic in nursing homes, care of the elderly and domestic duties in nursing homes.
