Certificate of Completion for Professional Development Course 2 for Early Years Staff

A splendid group graduated on 24th June. Professional Development Course 2 for nursery staff from Mímir. Here are also pictures of the students' fantastic art projects, which are a testament to their great creativity and ambition.

On the course, participants gained a varied and important insight into the work of nurseries, including the nursery curriculum, the development of nursery children, Icelandic for bilingual children, and creative arts with children. Furthermore, strong emphasis was placed on physical activity and the working environment, accident prevention and health promotion – factors that are crucial in the daily work with young children.

The students applied themselves diligently and performed exceptionally well. It was a real pleasure to have this enthusiastic and positive group in the house.
