We're launching a new website!

A new and completely revamped Mímir website was launched today at mimir.is. The site is a powerful gateway to Mímir, where service and efficiency are prioritised. Speed and accessibility have been greatly improved, and students' access to their studies has been secured.

It is easy to access all information about Mími and the wide range of services and courses on offer, for both individuals and workplaces. Students have direct access to the INNU student registration and teaching system via the web, which allows them to have a better overview of their studies and learning journey. Mímir is the first continuing education centre in Iceland to adopt Innu in this way.

The website is also suitable for viewing on computers, tablets and smartphones, and is now built on a new foundation that will allow us to develop it rapidly over the coming quarters.

The website is the result of a great deal of work that has been ongoing for over a year. It began with a needs analysis, where the perspective of all user groups on the data the website was to contain was assessed. This was followed by the design and programming, which concluded with specialised testing.

The website is powered by the Moya content management system, and Stefna was responsible for both its design and front-end development. Fúnksjón vefráðgjöf managed the website's requirements analysis and testing. Advania developed the website's integration with INNU in collaboration with Stefna, as Mímir uses the INNU school system from Advania to manage its application processes and student records.
