Women's Strike 24 October 2023

Numerous organisations of women, queer people and working people have called for a women's strike on Tuesday, 24 October 2023, where women and non-binary people who are able are encouraged to walk out of paid and unpaid work on that day.

It is clear that there will be a significant disruption to the entire community on this day, and it can be expected that the impact will be significant in schools and further education centres such as Mímir, where a large proportion of the staff are women or non-binary.

Due to this, all school activities are cancelled for the day, including both in-person and remote teaching.

Mímir supports the struggle for equality for women and queer people, and therefore asks all of you to show understanding for this disruption.
